Nestled just outside Ely, this cozy cottage offers a pleasant escape with its home-like ambiance. Upon arrival, I was welcomed warmly by Andy and Amanda, whose hospitality truly set the tone for my stay. the property was immaculate and equipped with a kitchenette stocked with essentials-including a good selection of teas and coffees. Though I typically struggle to sleep away from home, the comfortable bed delivered a surprisingly restful night. the location is convenient, about a 20-minute stroll from Ely center, with a lovely pub half a mile away. Yes, the proximity to the Ely bypass meant some traffic noise, but the double glazing mitigated any disruption. The highlight of my trip? the thoughtful nature of my hosts. They not only provided a driving tour of the area but also shared local insights that enhanced my visit. With free Wi-Fi and ample parking, this cottage strikes a nice balance between comfort and value. Given my frequent trips to Ely, I will undoubtedly return to this lovely retreat.
